This photo was taken this fall on the lower end Balsam Mountain Road just after a big storm. There had only been a few cars down the road so the leaves hadn't been blown off. This is one of my favorites from this fall!
I don't think I have ever seen the water look so blue in the Smokies as it does in spots right now.
