The wind, clouds and sun made from some interesting light rays shining down on Newfound Gap Road just before sunset.
We had great hiking weather yesterday. Went out the AT to Sweat Heifer and Kephart Prong. This waterfall was a little unique with the quartz like rock along the edge. There was a beautiful upper portion too but no place to photograph it from!
Nippy nighttime temperatures are here which means fall isn't far behind! Taken last fall on the Foothills Parkway
